The kennel operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, We take in unwanted sled dogs from various shelters and from individuals. Animal rehabilitation is not an overnight process. Unsocialized dogs take time. Mistreated animals take a stable, loving environment. We can do that here. The kennel only takes in a few dogs at a time —- so we can take the time necessary to deal with issues that they may have. CDK also acts as a holding facility for Heart Fur Animals in Delta Junction.
